Chairperson’s Message

Welcome to the Electrical Engineering (EE) department at ITU. The domain of EE is a classic yet contemporary domain that has not only played a major role in bringing about the digital revolutions of the last century (e.g., electronics, computer, and information revolutions) but, is also the one discipline which continues to drive innovations and remains in favor with employers due to its versatility, broad scope, and market appeal. The ITU EE program provides a broad-based education in the domains of electrical engineering and computer science, encompassing fields such as Communications, Control & Robotics, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science; and empowers our students through the development of their analytical and problem solving skills.

Our EE program is unique nationally due to the availability of well-stocked, state-of-the-art laboratories, a thriving high-quality research culture, and world-class faculty (the vast majority of whom have PhD degrees from globally top-ranked universities).
